Martino has over 30 years of experience in the high-tech industry, having served in various global executive management roles successfully turning around challenged companies and also growing strong technology companies in the consumer electronics, communications, automotive and computing markets. Currently, Martino is active in the high-tech industry by advising companies, sitting on company Boards, advising company Boards as well as engaging with various financial investment firms regarding leveraged buy-out opportunities. Most recently, Martino was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Director of Silicon Image Inc., a publicly traded company on NASDAQ until it was acquired by Lattice Semiconductor Corporation in 2015. During his more than five-year tenure, Silicon Image transformed from multi-year revenue declines to become a profitable worldwide leader in video connectivity technology, providing wireless, wired and software as a service solutions for the mobile, consumer electronics and PC markets. Prior to Silicon Image, Martino was an investor in SAI Technology, Inc., a leading supplier of Secure Cloud Open Stack technology solutions for various vertical markets. Martino’s two-year tenure focused on high-growth and also included responsibilities as a Board Member and Chief Operating Officer (COO).Prior to SAI, Martino was the President and CEO of Cornice Inc., an innovator and technology leader of portable storage solutions to the portable consumer and mobile phone markets. Before joining Cornice, Martino held the position of COO at Zoran Corporation, a leading provider of digital technology solutions for the growing digital entertainment and digital imaging markets, successfully guiding the company through a >400% increase in revenue growth over his four-year tenure. Martino also served at National Semiconductor in four different countries in nearly 14 years, including at its headquarters in Silicon Valley, Japan, China and Australia.Martino holds a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Melbourne, Parkville (Victoria, Australia) and a Graduate Diploma in Digital Communications from Monash University, Clayton (Victoria, Australia).
